Celebrating Culture, Empowering Change 

   Living a life full of opportunity and endless possibilities, I have always held the deepest gratitude for all that Ive been given. As I've gotten older, that gratitude slowly bagan to transform into wonder. What have I done to deserve the life that I have been blessed with? At first, it seemed tempting to shy away from that question, afraid that the answer would leave me feeling guilty and undeserving. My life experiences and relationships, however, have taught me that choosing to live a life conscientiously rather than ignorantly will always be the path worth choosing. While posting and raising awareness is an extremely powerful tool, last December, while witnessing the ongoing injustice towards the Palestinian people from the comfort of my couch, I decided that my blessings enabled me to do more. After months of planning and aspiring, it fills me with great pride to announce my project: FARASHA

 

   The word 'Farasha', when translated from arabic to english, means butterfly. As breathtaking as they are, every butterfly starts out as a simple caterpillar- unsure of the beauty they will someday hold. Regardless of their uncertainty, they eat and eat and hole themselves away in their cocoon, knowing that the incomparable reward of flying is worth the wait. 

 

   Farasha symbolizes hope for a world better than the one we live in now. With each product, 20% of proceeds will be donated to the cause in which it's creation was inspired by.
